Due to recent growth our associated Development company Campbell Buchanan George is now looking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their highly effective and hardworking Contracting team. Campbell Buchanan George creates high quality Housing Developments

Role Insight
  • Assist the project Quantity Surveyor to commercially mange new housing developments

  • Accurately report the financial and contractual situation of the project

  • Check that contracts are agreed and are robust in order to achieve best value

  • Measure and assess the work undertaken

  • Submit detailed, accurate and timely applications for payment

  • Assist with preparation of contractual claims

  • Give support and advice to site teams on commercial matters

  • Financial and contractual needs of a contract are fully met

  • Support the contracting team in giving the Client timely and accurate information

Key Skills/Qualifications required
  • Degree/HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or working towards.

  • Excellent organiser with proven time management skills

  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledgeable on Quality Assurance procedures and company policies

  • Knowledgeable on provisions of the Construction Act and other Contracts relating to suppliers and sub-contractors.
