Role Insight

We are now recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our highly effective and multi-disciplined Finance team. Working closely with the Group FD, this individual will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts for all Mick George subsidiaries. This includes:

  • Production of the monthly financial accounts pack including balance sheet reconciliations and journals.

  • Provide detailed support in the preparation of accounts analysis.

  • Cash Flow reporting and monitoring

  • Analysis and coding of financial transactions for capital expenditure and intercompany processing.

  • Support with the maintenance of management accounting processes, and the implementation of authorised changes.

  • Complete ad hoc information requests from the finance department or other departments in the company to a high standard.

Key Skills/Qualifications required
  • Qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts production role.

  • A logical, and analytical approach.

  • A can-do attitude and hunger to succeed

  • Strong report production skills.

  • Experience of working in a similar capacity within a multi-functional business is desirable.

  • Strong IT skills

  • Study support will be an option for the right candidate.
