Due to recent award of a prestigious earthworks contract, we are now looking to add experienced Foremen to our highly effective and hardworking Contracting team. This will be working with a Joint Venture of two market leading Tier 1 Main Contractors alongside their public-sector client who leads in highways and infrastructure.

Role Insight
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with Site Agents and Works Manager to supervise and work alongside the site team to achieve successful delivery of the earthworks contract within a major highways scheme.

Typical daily duties will include setting teams to work, supervising quality and productivity along with ensuring that health and safety requirements are being fulfilled. Travel to head office in Huntingdon will also be required on occasion.

These individuals must be flexible as nightshifts will be required.

Key Skills/Qualifications required
  • SSSTS minimum required.

  • Experience of working on Main Highways is essential.

  • Excellent attention to detail- in particular inspection test plans.

  • Ability to complete high volume of paperwork accurately.

  • Experience of working on smart motorway upgrades would be desirable

  • Confident communicator with experience of working with Tier 1 main contractors

  • Full UK Driving License required.
