Our Facilities Management division offers a wide range of services to commercial and residential clients for reactive and planned maintenance, right through to refurbishment and building installation.

Due to continued success and expansion, we are now looking to recruit a Stores Person to take control of company equipment and materials, including tools, small plant, miscellaneous work equipment, and construction materials.

Role Insight
  • Responsibility for the stores area and the issue of small plant, tools and accessories out to various jobs and sites on a daily basis.

  • Receiving of returned stock; ensuring that all items returned are free of damage, fit for purpose, stored properly and that all relevant paperwork is correctly completed.

  • Reporting any defects of returned stock to the maintenance team.

  • Assisting in inspection of items including PUWER, LOLER and PAT testing.

  • Stock replenishment including working closely with the MGL Procurement team.

  • Maintain and update all in house systems in regards to the movement of stock

  • Regular stock checks.

Key Skills/Qualifications required
  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience running a store, yard or warehouse facility

  • A methodical, hands on and accurate approach to their work

  • Good PC skills including MS Office

  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workloads

  • Experience operating a Telehandler forklift truck

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Previous experience with a stock control system is desirable
