Role Insight
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be working as part of our Software Implementation Team, providing various reports for the business. You will not only learn advanced data analysis techniques as part of your training, but will be encouraged to put that into practice helping us innovate and improve our data capture, data analysis and reporting techniques. We will be offering the successful candidate the opportunity to undertake a Level 4 Data Analytics qualification, as well as providing additional in house training on our operational systems to enable you to become a valuable member of our team right from the start. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a formal qualification whilst gaining workplace skills and experience.
  • Support the Software implementation team in the set-up and delivery of business reports from our proprietary systems
  • To assist the team with the production of high-quality data reports for the business.
  • Analysis of the data in Excel and PowerPivot and SSRS
  • Creating and updating BI dashboards in PowerBI and/or similar products
  • Assist with data validation on proprietary systems and new software developments
  • To take a key role in the development of our methods of data capture, data analysis and reporting; interfacing, alongside the Software Implementation Manager, with our external software partners
  • Developing the use of SQL to improve our data analysis and reporting


Key Skills/Qualifications required
  • A keen interest in working in the Data Analytics field.
  • Highly numerate with experience of interpreting data and creating reports.
  • The ability to develop new skills in Data Analytics and a willingness to learn about Programming
  • An innovative individual, keen to contribute with ideas
  • A self-starter able to manage themselves as well as work part of a team and take instruction from others.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to the demands of the job, in busy environment.
  • Varying levels of experience will be considered.
Course Entry Requirement:
  • Minimum GCSE grades A*-C (4-9) in Maths, English & ICT
