Due to continued success and expansion, our busy Engineering team is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and efficient Stores Person to join the Workshop function based in Ellington.

Role Insight
  • Responsible for booking stock in and out to various jobs and sites on a day to day basis

  • Stock replenishment including liaising and negotiating with suppliers.

  • Maintain and update all in house systems in regards to the movement of stock

  • Ensuring that all parts and old units returned are labelled and packed properly and all relevant paperwork correctly completed

  • Ensuring that all goods received are checked and stored correctly

  • To maintain a good standard of housekeeping within the Parts department.

Key Skills/Qualifications required
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in running commercial stores for a multi fleet operation.

  • Excellent PC skills including MS Office.

  • Ability to multi task and prioritise workload.

  • Previous experience with a stock control system would be advantageous

  • Flexible and positive approach to changing circumstances and changing priorities

  • Excellent negotiation skills
