Role Insight

We are currently recruiting a Customer Service Administrator to join our concrete team based at our Head Office in Huntingdon. Duties will include:

  • Answering incoming calls from existing and potentially new customers wishing to place concrete orders

  • Accurately inputting and processing customer orders on the IWS system

  • Dealing with any other customer queries in an efficient manner and providing telephone support for Concrete Shippers

  • Liaising with the sales team regarding customers who wish to place orders with additional services

  • Cross referencing quotations and prices on our customer database against IWS; ensuring all information is accurate

  • Assisting with daily activity reports

  • Creating new tickets based on ‘waiting time’ and passing onto Finance to process

  • Updating daily truck meterage report with forthcoming activity

  • Assist with matching invoices to delivery documents; ensuring all statements and corresponding documents are accurate in preparation for sign-off

  • Manage the ‘concrete orders’ email inbox

  • General administration duties to support the concrete team

Key Skills/Qualifications required
  • Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong IT skills- in particular MS Office

  • Proactive problem solver, with the ability to communicate at all levels

  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service

  • Organised with a polite and confident telephone manner

  • Effectively manage own workload
