Role Insight

We are now recruiting for an experienced administrator to take responsibility for the Time & Attendance and Holiday process across the whole of the business. The ideal candidate will be confident in dealing with all employees up to and including Director level and be a comfortable multi tasker.

Responsibility for the whole of the booking process company-wide, including but not limited to:
    o Receive holiday requests both electronically and via internal mail.
    o Distribute to relevant managers for approval.
    o Update holiday planner with authorisations/ refusals.
    o Return holiday requests to employees.
    o Ensure holiday planner is kept up to date with any new starters/ leavers.

Absence Management
Responsibility for the reporting of daily absence to the board
    o Liaise with managers to obtain information on daily absences.
    o Compile information into daily report and distribute to relevant stakeholders.
    o Chase returning employees for outstanding self- certification forms.
    o Log individual absences onto the holiday planner.
Maintenance of the Absence Tracker to include:
    o Ensuring all absence occasions are updated and necessary action is taken in line with the sickness absence management policy.
    o Management of AWOL cases
    o Tracking and/ or completing return to work interviews.
    o Issuing relevant letters to employees.
    o Note taking/ supporting managers in low level formal absence.
