Role Insight
We are currently looking for an additional Planning Assistant to join our well established Planning team. Reporting to the Planning Director, this individual will play a key role in assisting in obtaining planning consents for new sites and/or expansion of existing facilities.

• Assist in the preparation of planning applications for minerals and waste related sites
• Assist in reviewing draft Minerals and Waste local plans
• Producing presentation materials for meetings with clients and/ or the planning authorities
• Research historic planning consents
• Research geological data on a range of sites.
• Attending meetings and taking minutes
• Producing correspondence on behalf of the Planning Director
• General administration
Key Skills/Qualifications required
• Previous experience of the planning system would be of assistance but not essential.
• To be able to work under pressure and plan and prioritise workload without compromising high level of accuracy required.
• Excellent literacy skills and a meticulous eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn
• Self-Motivated.
• Full UK Driving License required.
